Built on 178 acres in Southwestern St. Clair County, with easy access off 1-94 from Detroit, this 18-hole course is back on top as one of the finest public golf courses in the United States. Designed in 1977 by Lou Powers, a past president of the Michigan PGA, the 18-hole course plays to 6,900 from back tees and is a true test of golf. Nestled among hardwoods, the golfer will experience the feeling of being in "Northern Michigan," as wildlife abounds in the rivers, ponds, and vegetation throughout the course. Golfers are struck by the beauty of the tree-lined fairways.
